The Pusterbike cycleway (Südtirol)

Published on:  | Last updated: 29 March 2017

The Pusterbike cycleway runs through the PusterTal (Val Pusteria) in the Südtirol, linking Toblach (Dobbiaco) with Brixen (Bressanone). It's part of the eurovelo7 - from Toblach you can continue along the Drauradweg (Ciclabile del Drava) which takes you to Lienz in Austria and from there you can continue on towards Maribor in Slovenia. Alternatively, or you can pick up the Lunga via delle Dolomiti which provides a perfect gateway to the Dolomites or to the Veneto.

As well as providing an important international connection, the valley is well worth visiting in its own right with some attractive towns and villages.

The cycleway is mainly traffic-free and mainly surfaced.
